Katani Studio is a workshop created with love for creativity, textiles and the ideas of conscious consumption. Behind each product is our story.

I am Katia, the founder of the studio, a designer and craftswoman responsible for creating new accessories and collections. Since childhood, I have been inspired by my mother, Tanya, who taught me needlework and how to see beauty in small things. She still helps with sewing today and is our ideological inspiration.

My sister Nina is the person thanks to whom the workshop works harmoniously. She deals with accounting, the organizational part and maintains order in all processes so that we can focus on creativity.

Together, our names – Katia, Tanya, Nina – formed the name KATANI. It symbolizes unity, warmth and a common cause that we create with love.

In our studio, we turn old clothes, mostly men's shirts, into new useful things: cosmetic bags, book covers, handbags, etc. For us, upcycling is not just a recycling process, but a way to tell stories through fabric, thread, and caring for the environment.
